Application process

CY Tech is transforming and reorganizing its international Master programs. As a result of this change, admissions to the Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management will only take place for the next intake in September 2020 in the second year of the Master (M2). 

To be eligible for M2, applicants must have good skills in mathematics, statistics, stochastic processes and probability.


Deadline to apply for Eiffel Scholarship: 2nd of December 2019

We encourage non-EU students to apply well in advance of posted deadlines to avoid any unwanted problems regarding the VISA arrangements.


Who should apply?

This Master's degree is for students who hold a Bechelor Degree (or equivalent) or for high-potential engineers who are looking for an international career in the domain of quantitative finance. The applicants who meet the requirements for M1 can be admitted directly to M2.


The Documents required when applying to EISTI:

  • A completed application form
  • Official copies of university transcripts and degrees
  • Copy of identity card/passport
  • A one page CV
  • Letter of motivation (2 pages max.)

 If you have not yet finished your degree you will need to ask your University a transcript that is current at the time of applying. If admitted, you will have to provide original copies upon the program start.

  • Proof of English language level (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS…)

If your primary language is not English, you must write an English proficiency test. Some applicants might be exempted from providing the Proof of English language level, if they have studied in an all-English curriculum.

Once you submit the documents and pay the 50EUR application fee, the Selection Committee will examine your application (an admission interview might be required to check your abilities and potential). You will receive an admission decision within 2 to 3 weeks.


In order to confirm your admission and become officially enrolled as a student at EISTI you must accept your offer of admission and pay a 2200EUR advanced tuition deposit. Once we receive your advanced tuition fee deposit, we will send you a letter of acceptance.

Tuiton fees

Application fees: 50EUR

The tuition fees are 14,000EUR (7,000EUR per year).

In order to be registered as a student at EISTI you must accept your admission offer and make an advanced tuition fee deposit of 2200EUR, which is non-refundable*. The rest of the annual amount (4800EUR) can be paid in instalments.

* You can only obtain a refund, if the French Embassy has refused to grant you a study permit.

The living costs may vary greatly depending on your lifestyle and spending habits. A monthly estimate was made to help you set your own budget.
